Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to have it deleted.

Pool Guys Midsouth takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you visit our website or hire us to service your pool, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Pool Guys Midsouth ("Pool Guys Midsouth," "we," "us," or "our") is a swimming pool and spa service company serving Memphis, Collierville, Germantown, Cordova, Bartlett, Lakeland and surrounding areas in Tennessee. This policy covers poolguysmidsouth.com, the quote and contact forms on it, the inspection and service reports we send to customers, and the internal tools we use to run the business.

2. Information you give us
When you request a quote, book service or contact us, we collect the information you enter in the form:
- Your first and last name
- Your phone number
- Your email address (optional on some forms)
- The service address for your pool
- The service you are interested in and your pool type
- Any message or details you choose to include
If you become a customer, we also keep records needed to serve you and bill you: service visits, water chemistry readings, equipment notes, photographs of your pool and equipment, quotes, invoices and payment status.
3. Information collected automatically
We use Matomo, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring site. We host this analytics ourselves rather than handing site traffic to an advertising network.
We also record how you first arrived at our site so we know which of our marketing efforts are working. This is stored in your browser’s session storage under the key "pgm_attribution" and includes any utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term values in the link you clicked, the referring website, and the first page you landed on. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab. If you submit a form, this attribution information is submitted with it.
4. Phone calls and text messages
Our business phone number is handled through a telephony provider (Twilio). Call metadata such as the number calling, the time and the duration is processed to route and log calls. If we call or text you about a quote, an appointment or your service, we are doing so to carry out the service you asked for.
If we send you service-related text messages, you can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving them. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell your phone number.
5. How we use your information
- To respond to your quote request or question
- To schedule, perform and document pool service
- To prepare and deliver inspection and service reports
- To send quotes, invoices and payment reminders
- To contact you about your appointments and your account
- To understand which marketing channels bring us customers
- To improve our website and our services
- To keep records we are required to keep, and to resolve disputes
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
9. How long we keep information
If you submit a quote request and do not become a customer, we keep that request while we follow up and for a reasonable period afterward in case you come back to us.
If you become a customer, we keep service and billing records for as long as you are a customer and afterward for as long as we need them for tax, accounting, warranty and legal purposes.
10. How we protect information
Our systems run on Google Cloud. Data is encrypted in transit, our database is not reachable from the public internet, and access to customer records requires an individual company account. Access to our internal tools is limited to people who need it to do their work.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by Tennessee law.
11. Your choices and your rights
- Access — ask us what information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to fix information that is wrong
- Deletion — ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep
- Marketing — ask us to stop sending you marketing messages
- Texts — reply STOP to any service text message
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page. We will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
12. How to request deletion of your data
To have your personal information deleted, email info@poolguysmidsouth.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request", or call us at (901) 249-7317. Please tell us the name, phone number, email address or service address you used so we can find your records.
We will confirm your request, delete what we are able to delete, and tell you about anything we must retain — for example completed invoices, which we keep for tax and accounting purposes. We will complete the request within 30 days.
13. Children's privacy
Our services are sold to adults and our website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Photographs of your property
Our technicians photograph pools, equipment and work areas to document condition, support quotes and warranty claims, and build your service record. These photographs are stored with your customer record.
We will not use a photograph of your property in our marketing without your permission. If you would prefer we not photograph your property at all beyond what a repair requires, tell us and we will note it on your account.
15. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. If the change is significant, we will make a reasonable effort to tell customers directly.

7. Social media platform data
We operate our own Facebook Page and Instagram account. Our internal marketing tool ("PGM Splash") connects to those accounts using Meta’s official APIs so that we can publish our own posts and read the performance statistics for our own content — reach, impressions, likes, comments and similar aggregate figures.
That connection is authorized by us, for our own business accounts. It does not collect personal information about people who follow, like or comment on our posts, and we do not use it to build profiles of individuals. If you interact with us on Facebook or Instagram, that interaction is also governed by Meta’s own privacy policy.
